Tehran, June 9, IRNA - Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) announced that aluminum ingots production has experienced a 33% rise during the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21).
Four Iranian aluminum ingots producers have produced 86,216 tons ingots; the number was was 64,689 tons in the same period last year.
Iranian Aluminium Company, Almahdi Aluminium Company, Salco and Aalumina factories produced 30,278 tons, 30,129 tons, 19,664 tons and 6,145 tons aluminum respectively.
Iran is among 15 top aluminum producers in the world.
